Geekend is a two-day conference that showcases the best and brightest innovators in tech, design, startups and successful brands from Savannah and beyond. Our goal is to establish Savannah as a hub for innovation, tech and creative industries and improve the Savannah online brand and raise awareness among the global tech community. Geekend also engages the existing Savannah community in more innovative endeavors through providing exposure to innovators/success stories/emerging technologies.

BUILDING INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS, EXPERIENCES AND COMPANIES
Geekend’s two-day program offers a mix of panels, workshops and presentations on emerging technologies such as AI, Machine learning and AR/VR, UI/UX trends as well as stories of growing startups to full scale companies and building new products experiences. Speakers come from Savannah and all over the country and include leading designers, technologists, CEOs and other cutting-edge thought-leaders.
After attendees have filled their brain with new information, they can ‘play’ in the AR/VR exhibit and video game arcade showcasing games built by game local developers. On Friday, Pitch Circus will offer Shark Tank style entertainment where local entrepreneurs pitch to a panel of judges and audience for prizes before gathering for an after party to celebrate.
