President Kennedy said we “must be a participant and not a spectator” in our political process. Figuring out our role in that process, and even what roles there are to be filled, is complicated and not something most of us know.

Let’s fix that! Politics for the Rest of Us will be a panel discussion with people who’ve run for state and local office, managed campaigns, and worked on issues both locally and at the state level. They’ll tell us what it’s like to run for office and to serve, and give us practical no-nonsense advice on how we can get involved in the political process as a candidate, campaign worker or as an advocate. This will be a non-partisan discussion with strategies and tips for everyone to get involved and make their voices heard!

Stay tuned! We’ll post more info as we get closer to the event and post profiles of our panelists and moderator!

We hope to see you there!

This event is organized and presented by Georgia’s WIN List and TechSAV.

When: 4/25/2017 from 6-8PM
Where: The SSU Student Center: 3219 College St, Savannah, GA 31404-5254, United States
